How do you go about arranging for VM to relocate your router to another location. I want to move mine from my kitchen to an upstairs bedroom.

Hi nic360ola
Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.
We'd be happy to arrange a relocation for you.
There is a £25.00 charge for this.
If you're happy to proceed, please let us know and we'll send you a private message to arrange this.

I too would like to move my router but its not as simple as that is it? Mine is where Bell Cable put it ie next to the TV/elect socket but that was many many years ago. Its then a jumble of wires to tivo box, tv etc and I have poor wifi in the back bedroom, furthest away.
Could moving the router help all round? Worth £25 in my opinion.

We can absolutely arrange this for you. I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security so I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. Hi Off_switch,
Thanks for coming back to me via private message on this one. As we're no longer swapping personal information, we can keep to the public thread.
The 360 has a different software and some functions are different. Some people do prefer the older functions on the V6 however it pretty much works the same. It's down to personal preference so it's really up to you. I would direct that question to the wider Community instead so they can answer your concerns. I personally don't have a VM service as I don't live in an area that has VM. We're also not allowed to advise on what's best as it will come down to personal preference. You can read more about the features of the 360 box here though.
In terms of moving to a digital landline, this is something that is happening across all providers. You can read more about this here. Whilst the main landline service will be done through the hub, we can still wire up extensions so you can use these if needed. You'll just need an engineer visit rather than remotely doing it yourself. When it's time for your area to be migrated, you'll be sent instructions on how to book an engineer.
Thanks,
