I received a self install Hub 3 today but cannot find a wall socket to connect it to. I've been on hold to VM for a while and have given up. The hub is plugged in and my phone can find the WiFi, but it's not working as it can't connect via the cable. Any advice on how to get a wall socket installed? Do I have to pay for installation when I somehow manage to arrange it? As the self installation was offered, I assumed they knew I had everything I need to set it up myself.

Self installs are an option where there was a previous live VM connection.
Do you have a wall box on the outside of your home?

I can't find anything inside or outside the house unfortunately.

It won't cost anything, however, depending on what wiring there is it could take some time to sort.

That's absolutely fine, I just want it to work! I wonder if the previous owners cut the cable and removed the box as I can't find any evidence of it amywhere

Possibly, and VM wouldn't know about it!
You can wait for a reply on here, however it can take a few hours to a few days.
