Errors And Strange Speeds

On our wavelength

We have a wired network connection. It used to connect to the router at 1Gbps. Now its down to 100Mbps and has been for a few days. I have also noticed some websites taking a while to load or not at all.

Just wondered if there is an issue with errors or another problem perhaps?

Quite a few errors there - especially on the 3.1 channel.

Check for local faults on 0800 561 0061.

Gave it a call, said no issues in the area. Something I should report to Virgin somehow?

Double check all cables and connections are tight and in good condition and try a 60 second pinhole reset of the hub. Failing that call it in as a fault.

Thanks, will have a look soon, and reset the hub. Probably tomorrow now. Will report back then.

Reset the hub online, it did a software update. I have the Hub 5. My wired connection is back to 1Gbps, will monitor for errors, there are loads of pre errors but think its the post thats important.

Check cables, they are all fine

Couldn't get through at all, tried numerous times.

Now on top of everything else the max download speed with are getting is 6Mbps, we are on the 500Mbps plan
