You need to book a technician’s visit.

The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

A warm welcome to our Community Forums and thanks for your post.

If you have accidently cut through a cable, a technician visit may be required and if it's a non fault repair, you may be charged £25.

answers could be better - start with a bit more info and a photo - what does the cable look like you have cut - if its coax then it could feed another box off a splitter in the box which goes to a 2nd internal box - if its multi core - 4 or more thin wires then its phone and if you dont have an old phone line then there is no problem so go from there before you book a tech aand give VM £25
