Many moons ago, I managed to get Virgin cable extended to my new build via the cablemystreet process. They sent someone to do a site visit and they could see what was possible and within a few months had virgin installed.
We enjoyed Virgin until we moved after about 10 years and I now find myself in the same situation. Relatively new built house about 50 metres or so away from an existing virgin cabled area with a potential pathway to lay cables to my house and 3 or 4 of my neighbours (who like me have trash broadband at the moment).
Is it possible to get a site visit carried out? My company would even be happy to contribute to whatever work is needed to make this happen.
I’ve tried calling but always get the usual “it can’t be done as you’re not in a virgin area”.
I just need someone within virgin to take an interest in this to see what’s possible.
Any ideas?
