Virgin Media were out and about in our area last week doing a big fix and some changes. They were checking modems etc and connections inside and outside house. Once they’d gone I noticed they had taken the cover of my brown box on outside wall and have broken it and just put it back loosely as it no longer just slips on then a screw holds it on. This part of the lid now has a hole in it so can’t be screwed in. This is now open to the elements and wires may well get seriously damaged. I’ve tried customer services but I’ve not been successful. This brown box was originally a Telewest one as it’s twenty years old but surely they must be able to fix or replace if their engineers damage them in the course of their work. Any help please in how I can get this sorted please?

I am so sorry to hear your outside box was damaged, are you able to provide an image of the box for us?

I don’t have one off hand but will go and take a pic once the rain stops. I have at present got it sealed up with some clear tape. I’ve to change this every few days though as it keeps coming off. I don’t have anything stronger I’m afraid.
