Alternatives for Broadband connection

For anyone affected by the delayed Quick Start Kits which are now (in theory) going to become available on the 20th you can either get a Home Broadband Hub (pay monthly) from both Vodafone and 3 Mobile.

3 Mobile offers a service for £28 per month (with Vodafone being more expensive with an additional up front device cost). This would at least provide you with coverage whilst this issue continues together with the flexibility to decide your next step without being at the mercy of Virgin.

The non communication on this issue has been astounding and a wonderful way to alienate your (newer) customer base...

I don't intend to be at the mercy of any provided and will definitely look at the right option going forward given the ability to  secure connectivity in the short term...

For those who can't do without broadband and don't want to tether their mobiles, a good solution is a MiFi router with a 4G Data-only SIM card.
