Security and sign in details alternative email address update failure
I recently signed into my Virgin account to update my passwords and was told to give an alternative email address to my @virginmedia.com address. I gave an alternative and the security and sign in details box gave me the following message:
You’ve requested to change the email address you use to sign in, to [my alternative email] Please check your inbox and spam folders for the email we sent, asking you to confirm this change. Once confirmed, you’ll be able to make further account changes.
Can't find the email? Tap 'Resend' to send it again.
I didn’t receive the email from VM and it wasn’t in my spam, so I tapped ‘Resend’ and now I have the following message:
There was a problem sending your confirmation email. Please try again.
This is now caught in a loop and I can’t update my account details or passwords. What am I supposed to do?
