Can anyone help with this issue, every time I try to stream pirate movies or tv shows I get constant buffering. I don't really have issues otherwise, can anyone offer any suggestions?

Unless they are of the Blackbeard / Captain Pugwash variety my suggestion is to read G6 of the Ts and Cs on copyright https://prod.ctassets.virginmedia.com/uploads/Terms_and_Conditions_TV_Fibre_Phone_from_4_February_20...

I don't think reading that'll solve my issue!

Stream legitimate material/movies/tv shows instead.
It's very possible that the bandwidth of the site you are streaming from is restricted by the site itself, or there are too many other people trying to stream from there for the site itself to be able to cope.

I guess it could be that, I just found it strange that it was only the pirate shows really that had the issue.

Agreed. Too many people feel entitled these days and want stuff for nothing.
I wonder how they would feel if they worked on something that was really hard work, for someone to then take it and enjoy it without paying a penny for it.
Content cannot be made unless the people making it get paid for it. It really is that simple. A separate debate where people feel ripped off by large subscription charges for things like sport, but people need to understand that huge fees were paid by broadcasters to secure the content for carriage and the issue is normally with the sports body (like football club or IOC for Olympics) for being greedy. There is a lot of legitimate end consumer free content also out there now funded by other means (freevee, Pluto, LG channels, Samsung Channels, VEVO, Plex Entertainment etc.)
