can I have the hub 5 x with the 1gig service?

what benefits will you get using the hub 5x? I only have the 1gig service available in my area

No. The Hub5 is the only hub that is used with PTP XGPON customers, it it not applicable to customers with a DOCSIS connection, so it’s not a straight swap.
