Wifi pods not working at all

So I've had 3 pods plugged in for maybe the last year now. They worked fine but are only wifi 5 compatible. I called up and spoke to an agent and asked if I could upgrade to the black pods. She seemed to think it might be a pod issue and not a wifi 5/6 issue so sent out a replacement, another old white pod.

Well this pod doesn't connect at all and has rendered my 2 other pods useless too. I'm pretty sure this entire issue would be fixed if someone could actually get me 3 black pods but for some reason they're literally impossible to get.

Any ideas? Thanks.

If maximum performance over Wi-Fi is what you are looking for abandon the VM Pods.

Wi-Fi Pods are Wireless Repeaters, each time one is crossed the data speed at least halves and latency + jitter ramp up.  Move on to Wireless Access Points but realise Wi-Fi 6 has surprisingly little to offer in the home environment and can bring some serious incompatibility issues on the 2.4GHz band..

Just look at the inability of Hub 5's Wi-Fi 6 to even be detected by wide range of IoTs.

Can anyone please help with this..?

Hi LaRusso

Thank you for your post.

I'm sorry to hear you've been having some trouble with your WiFi Pods. Having a look on this side, your Hub is showing that no Pods are linked with it, so this will be why you can't get them to work. This is something we can sort for you.

If you had more than one WiFi Pod in place, and only one was sent back so a black could be sent, this will be why another white pod was sent out, as they cannot be mixed. You'd either need to have all white or all black WiFi Pods in place.

I've popped over a private message so I can take your details and assist with the WiFi Pod issue. 😊
