I have 1 gig volt with one pod. Both wired and wireless are only delivering 7 meg in the back bedroom of a two bed terraced house.
The connect app useless as it says no problems then says it can't see my hub and when trying to factory reset I wait twenty minutes and nothing happens.
Problems always seem to occur around 6 to 7pm in my area.
Please don't tell me to go to Samknows as I can't even get there on my desktop. This is through a ethernet connection as well, so your engineers magic wand is irrelevant.
Before you try blaming my wiring I had two TPLink network plugs working flawlessly before tonight.

Perform the Samknows Realspeed test with a computer / mobile connected directly to the VM Hub
i.e. without the Powerline extenders & without the VM Pod.

So you tested by wire without TPLink network plugs?

Yes removed the TPLink plugs, replaced with the VM pod and connected via ethernet.
Also when I checked 3 hours later the VM pod was so hot I could hardly touch it.
These things are dangerous I will be reporting to Trading Standards.

So I've managed to fix the network plug issue by doing a factory reset on the hub5. Now getting 150Meg down and 100 up. Shouldn't be necessary to do this but handy to know if it happens again.

Hi @Dervish4182,
I've just responded to your other post on our forums regarding this matter. We'll continue to assist you from there with this going forward.
Thanks,

I'd like to thank Zach_R for all the help he has given.
However due to VM total lack of customer service I am leaving.
Logging a complaint and being referred to a chat bot is the laziest option I have ever seen.
FYI I work for a major UK bank and would be hauld over the coals if I responded to a complaint like this.
Goodbye all and look elsewhere. Getting the same package, better router and no price rise for 18 months at £35.
