Hi, I need your help guys. We have never had any problems when watching regular tv through VM. Today, we moved our living room furniture around and had to relocate the router using a new longer splitter cable supplied by VM. TV was all working fine until after lunch, when I put the dishwasher on and all of a sudden, the screen keeps freezing and pixelating. Thought it was strange at the time but put it down to a coincidence and re checked all the connections, which were good. Fast forward to this evening and after dinner when the dishwasher gets used again and the exact same thing happens! Has anyone had this kind of issue before? If so, how did you overcome it? It’s a tad annoying!
Looking forward to hearing what you guys suggest
Thank you

What do you mean by "regular TV through VM".
Are you using a VM TV box? In which case, which one? TiVo, V6, TV360 or Stream? Or do you mean using your VM broadband connection to allow another bit of internet-connected AV equipment to connect online?

Seems like the dishwasher needs a repair. Like the motor arcing and introducing noise to the mains or WiFi. Is the TV wired or WiFi to whichever TV box you use? Does this happen to programmes being streamed, regular VM channels or everything? And are you using any Powerline adapters?

Hi Swinola,
Thanks for posting and sorry to hear you've had some connection issues.
I've had a look at things from our side and can see you've been able to get in touch regarding this.

This could be as simple as the ring mains cables being loose in the back of the 13A sockets.

I've had that exact issue where everything worked fine until I moved the router then every time I put the dishwasher on I got problems.
I spent ages trying to fault find before eventually stumbling on the fix. I ended up taking the router out the dishwasher and hey presto, no more issues.
