Still no 5x Modem Mode?
Sales rep and engineer both seemed to think I would be able to use my existing router with this newly installed 5x hub. I cannot. Is it just because my 2.40.13-2210.4 software needs updating?

As others have said cancel during cooling off.
I did a lot of testing with Modem Mode and the 1 GB port. I found that it works but only for 7 days, https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Networking-and-WiFi/Modem-Mode-Hub-5x-Cooling-off-period/td-p/5577972.
I am not aware of anyone getting it working in a stable fashion, on any port, but happy to be proven wrong!
