Netgear Orbi RBR50 not working with Virgin Hub 5

I have a similar but different problem.

since Virgin upgraded me from Hub3 to Hub5 my Orbi RBR20 doesn’t take an internet feed from the Hub5 over Ethernet

under the Hub3 it all worked happily

Is the hub in modem or router mode?
