Hub flashing red

My hub 4 suddenly started flashing red. Followed all instructions, checked cables, connections, rebooted. I have nothing. No phone, internet, tv. Says there is no problem in my area. Can anyone tell me what a flashing red light is? Box is not overheating and is well ventilated l.

  • I’d just like to add that my experience with virgin media for the last 12 months, has been nothing short of terrible. Constant loss of signal, connection problems galore

  • The network is down, in your local area, I've had it for 2 days now, Virgin customer service is non existant I understand that if it is off for more than a certain period of time you can claim £8.60 a day compensation,  personally be like me and get another ISP!
