Hi I am new to this, I had Virgin Media Gig1 installed on 13/11/24. The tech guy did a test on HIS equipment and said I was getting over 800Mbps in the room where my router was and over 600Mbps in the next room, fantastic I thought. Did a speed test on my android 28Mbps?????? Did a test on my pc which is ethernet 94.8Mbps??? I downloaded VM Connect but guess what? Can't find Hub. Is this a regular thing?? I have read a few reviews and they all say the same thing. How do I resolve this issue?? I am beginning to regret moving to Virgin already, it seems it's easier to contact the dead. Thanks folks.

What does this site show?
https://samknows.com/realspeed/
Android device could be on the 2.4Ghz band, and the PC could have a 10/100 ethernet port, or has negotiated at 100Mbps instead of 1Gbps..

Hi @Eggman02,
Thank you for your post and welcome to our community forums. We're here to help.
I'm sorry to hear you've been having some trouble with your connection since your installation. I've checked things over on our systems and I'm unable to detect any known faults currently that would explain these problems you're facing. Are these issues ongoing today for you?
Thanks,
