I been playing fortnite for 5 years and gaming in general on console and pc. Never had a problem I used to be with Sky and then switched to VirginMedia for the last 3 Years. Never been a problem never had bad wifi or any spikes but recently like a month or 2 ago Fortnite has now become unpleayable. I am getting crazy lag spikes as If y conection is constantly about to shut down from 2 ping to 140 and high pings such as 60 when I have the router next to my pc and always been on 0 ping or really good ping. I cannot explain or find a solution for this online and I have yet to get an answer from someone that knows whats going on. So I decided to make a post about it here today. I'm not sure what is causing this but it has happened randomly and it seems to only be a problem with fortnite I can play other games.Screenshot_25.png

We are sorry to hear about the service issues you are having.

Is the device connected directly to the hub or are you using this via WiFi please?

Please pop back to us when you can.

Directly connected via Ethernet cable , I been having WiFi issues with all my games lately actually and I know it’s a problem from virgin media cause I checked down time and a lot of people complain in the north area of Manchester. Do you have any date when this will be fixed ..

Try these checks to see if your VM connection suffers from latency,
or if this is some other issue such as game server overload.

https://www.samknows.com/realspeed/

Once the test begins click on: Run full test to see all the stats for Latency / Jitter / Packet Loss.

https://speed.cloudflare.com/

For our connection the Realspeed test returns Hub Latency at about 15ms.
