It's about time Virgin allowed you to schedule Hub updates or just do them overnight.
Two so far this week at really inopportune times.

We're sorry to hear you've had some trouble with your router. When we perform firmware updates, these tend to be put through late at night/very early in the morning to minimise any potential disruption. If it happens at other times then this tends to be that it failed a previous attempt.

Thank you for asking, no issues and I wasn't aware that the updates were actually scheduled overnight so I've learned something.
Our router is on all the time therefore as you suggested it must have been a failed update.

They have millions of users, it’s just not practical nor cost justifiable.
