On our wavelength

So 3 days ago upgraded to m500 from 350, using hub 3

The next day it was great down load speeds over 500, but then I checked in different areas and dropped to what I was getting before.

Also connect app said can't find hub now and will mot allow.me to do anything .

I have also done restart and factory reset.as.advised,still no help

Thank you for any help

Kind of as expected, you are seeing the speed limitations of your Wi-Fi equipment, not the service speed to the Hub.

Best to avoid (i.e. uninstall) the VM Connect app, when present the Connect app
will re-enable Smart Wi-Fi and Auto Channels resulting in the Hub 3 having random Wi-Fi dropouts
when there is an Auto Channel change.

When i first downloaded the connect app it was working fine but the next day it says cant find hub 3 and says to install the hub again, wifi is working fine but i cant see which devices are connected and pause/unpause device. The last time i used mac filtering it messed my wifi up and i had to speak to virgin adviser who then reset everything from his side as it wouldn't reset on my side.

If you were advised that upgrading your broadband would improve your wifi speeds, you were deceived.

Hi @Trevh

Welcome back to the community forums.

Sorry to hear you've not been able to connect to the app since upgrading your speed.

Can you try uninstalling the app and clearing all it's data from the device to see if this helps resolve the issue?

Are you able to use another device which has not used the connect app before to see if the connect app works on another device?

Regarding your service issues, is it just when you go into certain rooms of the home that the connection drops or do you find it dropping on all devices at the same time?

Here to help 🙂
