I recently had virgin “lightning fast” cables installed in my street and surrounding streets in the area, I’m just wondering if anyone knows the wait time for when I can switch over to Virgin broadband.
currently stuck using openreach ISPs and not getting good enough speeds in my household.

That’s very unusual as Openreach based ISP’s are usually very good?

Below is a speed test, do share a screen shot the results from
your laptop / PC cable connected to the BT / Openreach kit.
If you are using Wi-Fi ... please do say as that can be a killer
of available speed especially if the laptop has a 2.4GHz only adaptor.

Same test on my 500/70 Openreach connection giving
ping 8mS, jitter 1mS consistently on wifi. That's about 3m and one brick wall from nearest AP.
