My newly installed virgin broadband went off on the 28th December. The boostral 720 light is solid red and the hub light is flashing red. Anyone had this before. Engineer isn't coming out until the 3rd jan. 2 kids over the Xmas period without internet is a nightmare and spoiling us from watching anytiing that needs downloading/streaming etc. The time scales are shocking and wondered if anyone is able to shed any light on this. Even if it's just there's nothing you can do and it will need an engineer. People on the phone didn't fill me with confidence, said I needed a new hub and would order one to ring me the next day to say that they didn't need a new hub and to hang on for an engineer.

A signal outage on the RFoG Platform ? Check if the folks next door are off too.
