Access to my hosting server at 123-reg

I have Virgin HUB 5 and trying to connect to the web hosting server on 123-reg.

It gives an error
'Your connection is not private'.
'This server could not prove that it is host.secureserver.net; its security certificate is from *.prod.lg.securingsam.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.
Proceed to host.secureserver.net (unsafe)'

I can access the website, FTP files to the server using FILEZILLA. But when trying to access the hosting space, get above error. When using the hotspot from mobile, I can successfully access the hosting space, implying that there is no issues with 123-reg.

On Virgin media connect app, when I try to access the hosting space, it flashes a message in 'Recently blocked threats' - Online protection with severity 'Low', 'Prevents you accessing known fraudulent websites or being re-directed to sites that could compromise your data' - which suggests VIRGIN media has blocked access.

I have switched off 'virus safe' in my account, hoping it will bypass this check. But error persists.

Any suggestions on what I can do please - thanks

The hosting server link starts with - 'https://host.secureserver.net/webhosting/cpanel/account/.......'

Thanks

That is exactly what I hoped you would try.
Sadly it looks like your choice of DNS is being redirected.

The link below performs the NSLOOKUP off the VM platform & it works returning the two IPs ...
https://www.nslookup.io/domains/host.secureserver.net/dns-records/#google

Using the link ... 'https://host.secureserver.net/webhosting/cpanel/account/.......'    I get to :

Are you using antivirus software or malware protection that relates to or is routing your network traffic through  : https://securingsam.com/  ?

Hi Client62, yes that's exactly what I should have got on my PC.

As mentioned by 用心棒 about Virgin SMART security, after switchingg it off, it has stopped blocking the access to the server. So obviously, this new SMART security thinks, it's a dodgy website, even though it categorises the risk is 'low '.  So thank you for recommending that solution.

This workaround solves the problem, but it bypasses the so called 'SMART security. So it's up to VIRGIN to work on that.

Thanks to all of you (Client62, PlantPot17, 用心棒) , for taking the time, to guide and resolve my issue. Much appreciated.

Indeed. Who /what is PlantPot17? What sorcery is it to have 37 posts on profile but none to view? Something is rotten in the state of Denmark etc.
