fantastic, rang me 5 mins before arrival and had a very polite manner. fitted my services in just 20 minutes, and had talked me through what he was doing. very informative and professional. great lad, good laugh. thank you.

It's great to hear your installation went well. There's good and bad engineers in any ISP. I work for Zen and we have the same issues with Openrrach. Hopefully Virgin moderators can get a comment back to your engineer.

I cant wait to get mine installed on the 16th.

You may wonder why a member of staff for a rival ISP is here. Simple: I want FTTP and Nexfibre / Virgin have carpeted my town over the last few months whilst Openreach and Cityfibre have gone quiet.

You're fortunate to live in a town chosen by Nexfibre. They sensibly move into places where OR FTTP is not imminent.

I've always found the VM technicians (as opposed to the contractors doing the outside work) to be competent and helpful.

It's the VM management and their broken system that lets them, and their customers, down so badly.
