account login says email addressee is not recognised

Ive just had virgin media installed today but the email addressee is not recognised although it is linked to the account.

Hello dev659

 

Sorry to hear of the problems experienced setting up your online account, we appreciate the confusion this can cause and you raising this via the forums.

 

If you have recently been installed, it can take a couple of days for all of the details to update and allow you to set up the online account. As long as you're using the registered email on the account this should be possible soon.

 

Another option would be if this was in relation to a move and you already have an existing online account?

not moved but i have used this email before when i had virgin media.

if i try to register it says the account is already associated to the email but wont let me login with it.

I understand thank you @dev659 I'd be happy to take a closer look into this with you via a private message.
