Why can't I click through the "Deals for Existing Customers"?

My contract ran out and I was paying £88 pm for 250 broadband/basic TV/landline.  There is a page on Virgin website called "Deals for existing customers". Looks great, £33 pm for same as I have for 17 months so I clicked the "Buy" button but then the website takes me to a different page saying "Your deal is £70pm" and I can't get around this.  Any suggestions as to what's happening?

Renewal links that fail, upgrade links that fail and special offer links that fail are all routinely mentioned on here.

I suspect that you are (somehow) seeing a new customer price for the 'Big Bundle' at £33 p.m. (which becomes £78 p.m. at month 19) so your £70 figure 'deal' is a bit less than 'standard' pricing.

VM would really like you to ring up and have to haggle with a sales agent (who will very likely tell you the price is much more than £78 to renew!)

Before doing that, do some research on your alternative options other than VM so you have some current facts and figures to benchmark VM's renewal offer against.

Sorry to hear you are having a bit of difficulties with the website for package renewal. You can also see existing deals via your My VM account 👉 virg.in/myVM - Hopefully there is something there which would work for you!

Sadly it does sound as though the website is having an issue and showing you a new customer deal (Which are only available to brand new customers). Our sincerest apologies about this! We appreciate it must be frustrating.

We don't generally offer support with package changes via this platform as they are best done in real time (We send you contract documents to check over and agree to ahead of confirming) but there's a number of alternative platforms you can get back in touch via for further support with package changes.
