Want to cancel by phone? You'll get right through to retentions where they'll do their best to obstruct and obfuscate, but of course they don't have the power to actually close your account! No, it has to be someone else. Someone you'll need to wait a very very long time to speak to on the phone of course!
Want to cancel via online chat? Sure no problem, just wait in a queue for multiple hours but never get to the top of the queue!
Who the **bleep** are you guys kidding? It's the very definition of a scam. This type of **bleep** nonsense makes it absolutely crystal clear that not only will I NEVER do business with this company again, I will loudly broadcast to everyone I know to steer clear.

Cancel by post, signed-for delivery. It currently costs £3.05, but is well worth it for the satisfaction 🙂

If you cancel during a minimum term period VM may charge you early disconnection fees.
While waiting for a VM forum team reply ...
You can share your unhappy cancellation experience with OFCOM.
They launched an investigation into VM on 13 July 2023 specifically into VM's cancellation and complaints processes.
