Recontract: Question on Add-on

Hello,

I received an email to re-contact but I noticed that they now separated TNT Sports from my re-contract package.

I seem to see somewhere that this will be extra £18 but at the “Review & Submit” stage of the order, the amount changed to £0.00

This then got me confused as to how TNT Sports would be dealt with in the re-contract package.

I would like to clarify this with someone at Virgin Media before I decide whether to re-contract or not.

i would be most grateful if someone from Virgin Media can contact me to discuss this please?

I am so sorry that you have faced this issue with your new contract and thank you again for posting. Can I just confirm, does the precontract information show TNT sports as an add on? If so are you happy with the overall cost of the deal?

Yes the recontract information shows TNT Sports as an add-on which I believe is unfair as it is currently part of my package now.

Also the recontract price increased again to £59 which I do not like given the fact that I have recently had an increase from £39.50 up to £42.97 all in the middle of cost of living crisis!!!! 
I would like to have this looked into asap.

I will only recontract at my current rate of £42.97 with my package remaining exactly as it is with TNT included and not sold as an add-on.

I look forward to getting this resolved.

We understand the frustration and confusion Okazim but TNT is no longer included as standard in packages and is chargeable as an add on if requested. If your existing price was an introductory offer (new customer deal) it may be we aren't able to offer this again or match the price.

 

We can't assist with package changes via the forums, if you can give the team a call on 150 from a Virgin Media landline or 0345 454 1111 option 1, option 4 then option 4 this will get you through to the contracts team who will be able to look into this further for you.
