I renewed my contract yesterday and was told that the change from Maxit TV to Mega TV was simply re-branding. I was assured that I would retain the same services as I had under my previous contract. Today I discovered that I no longer have access to TNT Sports channels - despite having stated that the sports channels were one of the main reasons for having a Virgin subscription. This is not acceptable: if a significant element of the package is to be omitted - or subject to an additional subscription - this should be made clear at the time of renewal.
