Yet another call from VM sales team, this time from 08000529406. I've already changed my marketing preferences to written only and removed my contact number from my profile. Virgin Media have either a leak of personal information or they've sold my number to a scam call centre in India.

Hi @Tomtom1234

When did you change your Marketing & Contact Preferences in

<My Virgin Media Marketing & Contact Preferences>   ?

It can take up to 30 days for the changes to take effect after unticking the box next to 'Sounds good! Keep me up to date', in the Marketing consent section, and then clicking on Save Changes.

The Contact Preferences section options on the same page don't provide the option of written contact only.

The applicable choices are shown in the screenshot at the bottom of this page

If you also have a mobile or mobile sim with VMO2 then you should also update those marketing preferences too.  https://accounts.o2.co.uk/consent
