Finally leaving VM due to poor retentions

I'm in exactly the same position after 25 years a VM customer, WhatsApp experience to cut a deal was terrible, kept having to repeat myself again & again and ended up with nothing.

I'm due to leave on 27th August and almost a week on from cancellation no phone call. Looks like they are keen to get rid of me as the packing to send my equipment back has arrived already!

Don't assume you'll get a phone call straight away or even at all (although you probably will eventually). I'm in the same boat and have had cable services for 29 years. My contract is up in a month and a half and i'm 90% sure I'll be leaving barring the miracle of a properly decent offer for once.
