Like many others, I was evicted over the holidays due to my landlords selling the building to new owners. I am staying somewhere temporarily and have no control over the bills and do not know when I’ll be set up somewhere to resume my service - hence cancelling. I spoke to three departments over the phone in order to cancel and see if the fee could be waived due to extenuating circumstances- especially seeing as I had been a loyal customer for 4 years - and the first two departments told me “maybe” but that I’d have to cancel first, get charged the early termination fee, and then speak to collections to see if something could be worked out. 30 minutes later, I am finally speaking to collections and am told within 60 seconds - “no” - not possible. Too bad, so sad, bill is due in 30 days and there’s not even an option to pay in part (since my £31.00 bill just became a £100+ bill due to cancellation). I asked if there was anyone else to talk to - “no”. Can I send in proof of my being evicted “no”. I have seen others on here posting with similar circumstances and having better luck (and kindness). Hoping someone will see my situation and can help.

Hey user411,
Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums.
I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having after cancelling your contract with us, I would be happy to take a further look into this for you but first I would need to confirm a few details via private message, please look out for my message and we can get started. Also, we may need confirmation that you have been evicted from the property to remove the charges.
Kind Regards,
