You are NOT out of contract with VM. If your 12/18/24 month contract ended you are it on a 30 day rolling contract. You still have to give 30 days notice of termination. It’s all in your original contract, but most people do not read it.

I have given Virgin the 30 days notice (even though I still believe that to be unfair and underhand).

Happy to look into this for you to gain some clarity over the early disconnection fees you're referring to, but if the agreed contract expired, then you wouldn't be in a contract with a locked in period and therefore wouldn't be subjected to early disconnection fees.
