Downgrade Broadband

I'm in contact until July 2025. Can I then downgrade to Broadband only? I don't need to TV packages etc I don't use it. I tried telling them this when I renewed in January but on the phone they said said I had to have a TV package.

Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 😊

We do have broadband only packages, you can choose to downgrade to this and remove other services.

We'd require 30 days notice of cancelling a service, you can do this 30 days prior to the contract ending and there would be no early disconnection fees.

That's quite right, @Alex_RM.

But as you will be aware your sales people are very forceful and work very hard to upsell the customer to something they don't need or want.

Yeah there has been a spate of downgrade refusals recently. I wonder if this is policy. I doubt it stands up legally but will monitor.
