I've spent two days on the phone, WhatsApp, and web chat and am getting nowhere.
Spoken to one person in India after being on hold for an hour who was useless, put me back on hold for another 45 mins until a recorded message told me no one would be answering me and to try again another time.
WhatsApp tells me the humans are resting, as does Web chat.
Short of taking a day off work to sit on hold and hope to speak to someone, which I have no cause to believe I will, what am I supposed to do?
I see Virgin are being investigated for this exact issue and rightly so

I've read that and don't want to send a letter. I want confirmation from someone of cancellation. I have no faith at all that I'll get this be writing to them

Nothing else you can do then (The VM team on here don't deal with cancellations).

No, no one does. Hence the Ofcom investigation

Why not just send a letter, if you send it registered and signed for you are totally covered if VM do not terminate your contract. Just make sure it contains your address and VM account number.
