Hello I have been with VM for over 10 years and when the fibre optic service became available I signed up and paid every month on time etc.

Due to the poor speeds I was getting I decided to change over to a new service also on fibre optic that just became available in my area.

The engineer has gone up the pole to fit the optic cable etc and has told me I have never had fibre optic running into my home from outside or into my home!

I have raised this as a complaint I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else ?

I am assuming you have just had Openreach installed which is a different network to VM's. How did you connect to the Internet up to now? Via a VM hub? 

I'm not a Very Insightful Person (just a little bit, sometimes). I don't work for Virgin Media (but then nor do any of the offshore customer service agents).

No I have had youfibre installed and yes was just a hub indoors. The engineer could see there was never any fibre optiv installed.
