Cannot change my VM Account email address as requested

Hi, I need to change the email address registered to my VM account from a non 'ntlworld.com' address to a 'gmail.com' address.

 

But I keep getting this message and no email sent to me (either ntlworld email account nor gmail email account)

Can anyone assist?
