So on the 9th of July I rang VM to cancel my broadband, with the 30 days notice I was told my last day of service would be the 9th of August, I got an email from VM confirming I had cancelled however under my account it says there's no disconnection date AND then I've just received an email saying I'll be charged on the 14th of august for my regular £68 for services from the 11th august-12th september?
After reading the forums on here i'm concerned that Virgin Media has decided to cancel my cancellation as i've been reading it has happened quite a lot

Hello ZHolmes
Apologies for the concern around your account and cancellation. We're happy to advise and help via the forums.
When the 30 days notice is in place, we continue to bill as normal up until the date the services are disconnected (in this instance from what you have advised the 9 August) once the disconnection completes, any payments made for service after the disconnection date is calculated and refunded.
There is no notification made via the online account a disconnection is in place either, we don't cancel disconnections unless this is requested by the customer themselves.
