Cancelled Virgin broadband/TV

Hi,

I cancelled my services within my 14 day cooling period on the 24th of Jan and was told by the agent all I would pay would be a closing balance of £22.80. Since then I've been charged the full bill amount for January and have just gotten my bill for Feb for the same full amount. Trying to speak to VM agents and it's getting me nowhere. I've only used the services for all of a week and the agent was saying I'd still have to pay 2 x full bill and a closing balance which would be around £135+ which is obsurd to say I cancelled within my 14 days and I only used the services for a week if that.
