Land line dead.Virgin Media says no problem.

Tuning in

My landline was dead on Sunday the 25th.I unpluged everything from the main socket and just used each of my phones .Still dead.The cover on the main socket was removed and the phones were inserted into the test socket.Same result.When I used the 0345 number on Tuesday the 28th a recorded message said engineers were working on the fault and that it would be repaired in a few hours.This morning Wednesday the 28th at around 10am the phones started bleeping at random times but are still dead.Time now 16.37.
