Hi Virgin Media,
Had a question regarding our landline, recently have had virgin media installed and everything is working perfect now when we got the broadband and the landline package we also got a new landline number. Now we currently have a landline number that is in use via a VIOP provider . Just wondering if it is possible to transfer the VIOP landline number to the landline number we have with yourself.
Thanks in advance

Hi MK6,
Thanks for your post and welcome back to the community.
Sorry just to clarify on this matter, does your provider for the voip number allow port requests?
Also who is the provider?
Let us know,

Thanks for getting back to us,
Do they advise that a port can take place at all through their contact details?

If your VoIP line has the same STD (area code) as where you live, then porting should not be a problem. If you have any other area code or an 03 non-geographic number it cannot be ported to a conventional area exchange (which Virgin infrastructure still currently uses).
