changing email password is ruddy awful

right, so i get a notification that my email password has been released on some darkweb, i suspect its an old password, so i change it anyway to be safe... first thing- it  asks me to put in a non virgin(or ntlworld) email to verify, which then is a pain to try and sort out, but then i try and log in to my virginmedia account and it wont have it, it doesn't accept my ntlworld email addreess as user or the virginmedia password(which i assume was differnt from the email password, but i tried that nayway) and now i can'tt log in to my virginmedia... i tried the forgot password option, but nothing sent.... you really could make the whole procedure much simpler...

oh and i also tried the gmail address i gave as that was the non VM address that i gave when requested...

Hey @zimmerphrame Thanks for reaching out to us on here. 👋🏽

The MyVM was changed so that the login cannot be a Virgin Media email address or affiliation to one.
It must be a third party email address, like @gmail, @icloud, or @hotmail domains.

Kind regards,
Ilyas.
