So after 2 days of outage, I contacted support today and they are logging it as a ticket with a 5-day turnaround. In the meantime I can't access any of my emails and my husband can't access his either. I started down the route of recovering the email instructions on the page but never got a chance to complete the process - I added an alternative email from gmail to the account and got a verification code but now it is not even taking me to the page, just does not recognise my email address (either my virginmedia.com or my gmail one). I do still have the main account access, with email (my husband's I believe) blocked. If I send an email to my own virgin address, it's not returned as unrecognised but I'm really worried I've messed up big time and my mailbox is gone forever. I presume it's not a "me" problem but a Virgin problem, but they are not admitting to it? Maybe it is just me as I can't see any complaints from anyone else 😞
I really can't wait for at least another 5 days to access my emails - I've got bills to pay and all my account details etc are stored on email. I'm so stressed, is anyone else suffering this webmail outage?
