NTLworld email needs deleting

Hello I have recently been hacked via an old account. This should have been deleted when I left VM however it has remained active and has now been hacked, I need this account deleting and terminating urgently please.

The Forum Team (VM staff who support this forum) can arrange to get that old account deleted for you.

Just a tip for you - Once you have been advised that the email account has been deleted I would send a test email to that email address.

Check that you get a non delivery message back. That will confirm the account has been fully deleted. Sometimes VM's deletion process only removes access to the webmail account and does not remove the mailbox itself. A non delivery message will confirm that the account has been fully deleted.

One of the team will contact you on this thread in the next day or so.

We're sorry to hear your email account remained active after leaving VM. This does happen at times but we can get this raised with the IT team to get the account deleted but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you. 

I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊
