Hello all I need some advice. I had to close my Virgin Media account (beginning June 2024) due to a house move as they dont cover the area where I've gone to. I moved 6 months ago and all of a sudden I cannot access my email account which I've had for 30 years (was ntlworld) and I use it daily. The help desk says it closes after 90 days (which I'm well over) and they also tell me they cant reopen it even for a few days so I can archive all my emails and contacts. Is there anyone out there who can advise how I can get it opened up again even for a short while. Totally lost without emails.
Many thanks
Andy

What happens if you send an email to the old ntlworld address from a new third-party email address?
If the email goes out to your old ntlworld address, and seems to have have been delivered with no error messages, then the old ntlworld mailbox may still exist in a 'locked' condition. If you get an 'undeliverable' message back then the ntlworld mailbox has been deleted.
As to whether you can regain temporary access, that seems to be at the discretion of the VM forum team on here. A VM person should reply within a few days.
