Morning, I have a Samsung 8 phone and this morning woke up to my phone giving constant notifications (been going two hours now). It seems that my old NTL World e mail address (which I can no longer access) is all the time trying to send all my old email from the Outbox, it seems like it stuck. Have tried rebooting the phone several times that has not worked. I have not been able to access NTL emails (they got turned off about 18 months ago) but its like someone has turned it back on and now it wants to keep sending all the old emails and won't stop. Any ideas please?

You don't say which email app you are using on your phone but If you have emails in the app's NTL Outbox that means they have not been successfully sent. As a result the app will then simply continue to try and send them which results in what you are seeing.
It seems strange that has only recently star but it's more likely that the email app you are using is misbehaving rather than any change at the VM end.
Just to clarify: The purpose of an email app is to sync (synchronise) your email account with the email account itself on the Virgin Media mail server. So, in simple terms the app sends the email to the VM server and the VM system then sends the email on to its intended recipient.
Most email apps have an option in their Settings menu to select a specific email account and then a setting within that such as "Account sync" or "Sync now". That setting allows you to turn off the app's "Sync"" function for that specific email account..
If you turn off the app's sync function for your NTL email account that should stop the app continually trying to access the VM email servers.
Give that a try and see how it goes.
