Email Accounts been deleted

Evening all

I am getting rather tired of the problems I have been facing with Virgin Media Emails of late. To date I have ad two of my email address disappear/deleted. @virginmedia.com - wanted to charge me £25.00 to have this account restored! & @ntlworld.com. Both of these accounts have been used extensively. 

I have been with Virgin media for about 15+ years, and always advocated their excellent customers service. Now  - hot happening.

I have read on the forums about change overs/ accounts deleted/ accounts disappearing..... and I am beginning to wonder if moving providers will be advisable.

Any thought/recommendations will be helpful.

Setting up some third party email addresses would be your best move. VM email is not going to get any better.

If you are a VM broadband customer, you are eligible to use email from VM and its predecessor companies. To do this though, your email addresses need to be associated with your VM broadband service.

If the email addresses are no longer associated with your VM broadband they are 'orphaned' and may be subject to VM's deletion processes.

Depending on how far the deletion has gone it may be possible to associate them to your VM broadband but I have not heard of VM demanding £25 to do this though.

You will get a reply from the VM forum team on here, usually within a few days, who will advise what might be possible.
