Continuing Email Niggles.

Morning,

Yesterday,our WebMail was working fine.Last night my girlfriend went into our WebMail inbox to refresh it,as we were both expecting some emails.Upon doing so,she was met by the red wheel of doom,and a service issue banner at the bottom of the screen.Just went to refresh our WebMail inbox this morning,to find one email.We can normally set our clock on when early morning emails arrive into our WebMail inbox,with about 7 or 8 already having arrived,by around 8:15am.Admittedly these are promo emails which serve very little purpose,but when they arrive,at least we know that things are functioing correctly.Those emails haven't arrived this morning,with our WebMail inbox being VERY quiet.

** have tried sending a test email from our other Gmail account to our ntlworld.com account(and vice versa)and it sends and receives just fine,with it appearing straightaway in our WebMail inbox **

There is plainly an issue somewhere,anybody else also suffering from a VERY QUIET WebMail inbox folder?

Yes. Read the forum and you'll see this is a common problem.

You have multiple topics open, since the beginning of May, on the many problems of VM email.

Why not bite the bullet and migrate anything linked to a VM email address over to a better third party provider? Time spent posting on here would be better used in moving your VM email elsewhere.

Long delays in receiving messages was why I finally ditched VM email and that was back in 2011!

VM email is not going to improve any.

Well yes, there definitely has been a major IT issue 😉

I don't know but perhaps the organisations that send you these "promo" emails were hit by the Microsoft 365 meltdown overnight? See here https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live

Hi, 

Once again my inbox has gone VERY quiet. Emails were arriving as per normal up until 11:30 this morning,but since then my inbox has gone very quiet(only receiving a couple of test emails that I sent from my other email account,and a reply from my cousin)which is strange,as, normally my inbox is peppered throughout the day,with incoming emails.

Have seen a couple of other people also having issues,anyone know what's wrong?

Have looked through the forum for said posts referring to a unusually quiet inbox,but can them.

For the record :- since 11:30 this morning,my inbox went from being very busy,to once again going very quiet.
