Can't verify my email address

If I follow the activation link when trying to log into my virgin medya account it immediately says that the link has timed out.

No matter how many times I try this and resend the link it will not work!

Are you using a plus / sub address as your new Sign in Email Address, i.e. john.smith@gmail.com  as john.smith+subaddress@ gmail.com? Read more about sub-addressing here Email address - Wikipedia

Nope, I am using a standard email address ending in outlook.com

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with verifying your email address. This is something we can certainly check for you but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security. 

I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊
