I have for over a week or two now not been unable to  send out emails ,every time i post or reply to my incoming emails i get an error message on my computer , although i can receive emails with no problems.

I have reported this but as yet i have had NO RESPONCE FROM VIRGIN which is NOT satisfactory.

If you can send e-mails via the VM web App or send e-mails via your phone using data, you may have an issue many more have - your IP address has been blocked.

Also, you can check by opening up the full error message box, the text there may mention IP.

If that's the case the fix is this:

  • go to https://netreport.virginmedia.com/netreport/ :
  • select Email Sending Errors from drop down list
  • Other from drop down list
  • copy and paste the error message into  Log evidence field
  • enter your name into My name field
  • enter email address into Email address field
  • select Submit button
